HOTEL DOBRUŠKA
HISTORY
The hotel is located in the town of Dobruška, situated in the foothills of the Orlické Mountains, in the town of F. L. Vek.
Our building was built in the fifties. In September 1961, a study centre was established in Dobruška to prepare foreign students to study at universities in the Czech Republic.
The study centre was first part of the University of 17 November in Prague, since 1974 part of Charles University. After 1989, the teaching focused on domestic students.
In 1990, the building was reconstructed and rooms with private bathrooms were created. In 2019, Charles University offered the building for sale. The then Dobruška City Council decided to buy the building, convert it into offices and preserve part of the building for accommodation and from now on it is being written
